Notes
Major Tiffin was a member of the 34th Tactical Fighter Squadron. On July 21, 1966, he was the pilot of a Thunderchief Fighter (F-105D) on a mission over Cam Nhan, Yen Bai Province, North Vietnam, when his aircraft was hit by hostile fire and crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
