Captain Tucker was a member of the 20th Tactical Air Support Squadron. On December 24, 1971, he was the pilot of a North American Rockwell Bronco (OV10-A) on a mission over Attopeu Province, Laos. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
