Lima Mary Violette was born in Old Town, Maine on August 7, 1895. She married Frank J. Violette on October 1917 and they moved to Providence, Rhode Island where they had two children, Bill and Frances. In late 1919 Frank and his family moved to the Canal Zone where Frank worked for the Panama Canal Company and Lima worked as a school teacher. She died on August 24, 1956 at home and is buried at the Corozal American Cemetery next to her husband Frank J. Violette.
