Sergeant Voyles was a member of the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously injured in South Korea on September 2, 1950 and returned to duty on September 29, 1950. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 26, 1950.
