Notes
Corporal Walters was a medic with the Medical Company, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was seriously wounded in North Korea while tending his wounded comrades on November 2, 1950 and returned to duty on November 8, 1950. He was seriously wounded again in South Korea on October 14, 1950 and returned on October 17, 1950. He was seriously wounded a third time in North Korea on April 28, 1951 and died of those wounds the following day.
