Notes
Corporal Walters was a member of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while defending his position north of Seoul, South Korea against massive Chinese attacks on April 27, 1951. He died while a prisoner at the Prisoner of war Camp #1 near Changsong, North Korea on July 31, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
