Sergeant Weaver was a member of the 1st Platoon, Company E, 2nd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in Korea on April 3, 1953 and returned to duty on April 11, 1953. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on June 11, 1953.
