Notes

Private First Class Weldon was a member of Company C, 1st Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while approaching the Yalu River in North Korea during the initial Chinese intervention on November 4, 1950. He died while a prisoner near Pyoktong, North Korea of exposure on February 16, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
