Private White was a member of the 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously injured in South Korea on March 28, 1951 and returned to duty on April 17, 1951. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on April 24, 1951 and died of those wounds on May 1, 1951.
