Corporal Worden was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
Notes

Corporal Worden was a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in North Korea on September 11, 1950 and returned to duty on September 19, 1950. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on September 29, 1951. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. Cpl. Worden’s remains were identified by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in 2017. His name is permanently engraved on the "Walls of the Missing" at the Honolulu Memorial
