Sergeant First Class Zagar was a member of Company H, 2nd Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. His stove exploded as he was filling it with oil and he was evacuated to the 8076th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital where he died on June 14, 1951.
