Private Zagurskie was a member of the 10th Engineer Combat Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on March 24, 1951 and returned to duty on April 2, 1951. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on April 23, 1951.
