Notes
Captain Cornelius was a member of the 336th Tactical Fighter Squadron. On June 16, 1973, he was the pilot of a McDonnell Douglas Phantom II Fighter (F-4E) on a mission over Cambodia, when his aircraft was hit by hostile fire and crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
