First Lieutenant Gorral was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
Notes
First Lieutenant Gorral was the co-pilot of a B-26C with the 8th Bomber Squadron, 3rd Bomber Wing based at Kunsan Air Base (K-8), Korea. On April 19, 1952, after takeoff on a combat mission, the aircraft crashed into the Yellow Sea one mile from shore. His remains were recovered.
